On Sunday, November 15, 2009, St. Mark’s CAYA Worship band provided live “rock ‘n’ roll” music for the racers of the 2nd annual Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon & 1/2.

The band set up at the Martin St. entrance to Tucker Courtyard  at 6am and first wave of racers arrived at the 2.4 mile mark at 7:40am and continued to run by until 9:30am.

What a wonderful showing of hospitality it was.  The marathon participants seemed to really appreciate the gesture by applauding and dancing as they passed.  It looks like we’ve started a new tradition!
