Becca Morgan

About

Rebecca Morgan was born in Austin and raised in San Antonio.  From a young age she knew that she was going to “teach people how to sing” and this has been her life’s passion and work. She holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ and a Master of Music Education from Texas State University.  She taught in NEISD for 8 years and currently teaches at The Montessori School of San Antonio.  She has presented at TMEA, TCDA, and school districts throughout Texas. She has studied at the Kodály Institute in Hungary and currently serves on the state board of the Kodály Educators of Texas. She has 20 years of experience working with The Children’s Chorus of San Antonio as the program director and associate director of different choirs or programs ranging from early childhood Music Together classes through high school.  She has brought choral music experiences to children across San Antonio and is excited to continue her work bringing people together in song at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church.
