Jack Mitts

A native of San Antonio, Jack Mitts is joining the staff of St. Mark's as the parish business administrator after working in accounting and administration in both the non-profit and hospitality industries. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin where he studied English, though most of his time was spent at the news desk as the managing editor of UT’s daily student newspaper. Having grown up Roman Catholic, Jack was a parishioner at St. Pius X until finding a new home at St. Mark’s, where he and his fiancé Meg will be married this August. He's interested in music, hospitality, and developing practices to nurture community, faith, and art. Outside of work, you can find him doing his best to keep up with his very busy four-year-old son Gus and learning to play pedal steel guitar. He's excited to connect with you all, especially over music or book recommendations.
